I have been receiving hang up calls day and night from a cell phone number!

  1. Craig Said,

I don’t have a membership but I have occasionally used these sites for ‘once-off look ups’ and I’ve found this to be convenient to my needs.

I would advise maybe spending a few dollars on doing a once off number look up depending on how curious you are about who it is.

  2. Jay Kern Said,

You can use such sites as http://www.unitedsleuths.com/reverse-phone.html or http://www.telephonenumber.com/reverse-lookup.php to find out if a number has name details made public….

But the problem with cell phone numbers is that because their details are constantly changing, there is no central directory for them. This means that to find out who owns a cell number, companies need to compile large lists of customers and number owners, etc.

You can see such a company here: http://www.phone-number-trace.com

  3. Kraig T Said,

I don’t have a membership, but I did read an article that talked about how you can reverse lookup phone numbers.

I’ll leave the link below for you to read.

    I hope this helps…

I think I can help with this. I found an article that talks about tracing an cell phone number. i have listed the article below. I think you might find it helpful.

  5. Jethro Said,

I do testing and research for an online consumer review site (www.CompleteReviews.net). My latest assignment has been public record search sites. Reverse Phone Lookup falls under that arena so I spent much of the last 3 months testing all the products that offer said services. I was amazed at how much garbage there was out there first of all. So many scam sites trying to charge customers for information they can find in their phonebook! The only reverse lookups that should cost anything are unlisted numbers and cell phones. This is because the reverse lookup site must pay a lot of money to access that data so they obviously need to charge a fee to end users.

I have run a lot of tests and can vouche for the top reverse phone lookup sites that made the cut at http://www.completereviews.net/reversephonelookup.html . Each of them offers access to cell phone registries so you should have no problem tracing down the owner of that caller. If you want to go a step further, you can find out a ton about them besides their name. You could end up running a full background check on them… find out their address history, who their neighbors are, who their relatives are, if they have home loans, a criminal history, etc.

Anyway, I digress. Good luck in stopping that caller! That can be such a pain!!!
