  1. Emmanuel Said,

    Are you looking for how to do a Free Phone Number Look Up? Listed below are the best methods to lookup any phone number for free.If you have a friend or a relative who is a cop, then ask them to help you look it up. It is their job and he or she should be able to help you trace any phone number.

    Look on search engines such as Google. This method works because people leave their phone numbers on social sites they visit where Google can find and display them. Try different formats ( e.g 555-555-555) as not all formats will work.

    Call up the number from a pay phone and ask to speak to Mr or Mrs Fake name that comes to your mind ( depending on the voice from the other end, a female name will work for a female voice and vice versa). If they say wrong number then ask for their names or simple say something like " who am I speaking to?".

    This method doesn’t always work but you may be lucky. Call you phone company and ask them. You may just be luck. Another way about this is to find a friend who works with any of the communication companies and ask them to look it up for you.

    Do you know any one who works with any government depart that have access to public records? This person may be able to help you but you can’t tell for sure until you ask them – Remember that song by Michael Bolton – "Some times in our lives"?

    Use free directories such as zabasearch.com, phonenumber.com, whitepages.com, anywho.com, reversephonedirectory.com, infospace.com. All of these directories will work for Land line numbers.

    The other method is not free but it is the best when all the above free methods do not work.

    Sign up with any of the pay directories and get the information you need. The price is actually affordable. A single search can be done for as little as $14.95. The good thing about this method is that it is fail proof plus you can always get a refund even if the method does work for you.

    Using this method is by far the best way to lookup the details of an unliste or mobile phone number. And you will not only be given the name of the owner of the said number for a little fee, you will as well recieve important information such as :

    The current full address of the owner of the number
    their marital status
    Spouse’s name ( if married)
    Names of kids ( if any)
    names of possible names
    A listing of all previous addresses
    their criminal records and many more.

  3. Troy K Said,

    you must call the phone company that services your area and then ask them about the particular number. they will be able to tell you if it is available and how long it has been out of service, ect. you may have to pay a small fee extra for the number and it may not be available but you can ask them. good luck!

  5. Marcus Said,

    Here’s the deal. Traditional phone numbers are public record and are freely available so anyone can find them. This means a "reverse phone" lookup on one of these numbers will also be free. Here’s a few of the most popular free reverse lookup services (remember, these are not useful for cell phone numbers):

    * AnyWho
    * WhitePages
    * Addresses

    Why aren’t reverse cell phone lookups free?

    So, there are free reverse LANDLINE phone services… but what’s different about cell phone numbers?

    Basically, cell phone numbers are not published openly the same way as landlines are. This means that the companies that actually organize reverse cell phone directories have to do much of the compilation manually. The information often comes from opt-in services (where customers volunteer to be in the database) or other small databases.

    So, for there to be any sort of considerable coverage, reverse cell phone database designers must purchase the information they use from other companies. Ultimately this means that reverse cell phone lookups cannot be offered for free.

    However, more popular reverse cell phone lookup providers are able to negotiate special volume discounts, create professionally written advice and search tips, and combine background check and people-search technology into reverse phone lookups.

    When you sign up for ReversePhoneDetective.com, you won’t just get industry-leading reverse cell phone lookups, but you’ll also get unlimited access to dozens of other investigative tools.

    In essence… there are no "free" reverse cell phone lookups, but this is the "next best" thing. Type in any phone number and hit "search" to get started.

    And if you want, you can read a great review about hte bigget services like that at http://www.phonelookupreview.net

    Hugs!
