Samsung has stepped up and made an official announcement that it will not release the Galaxy s3 this month or the end of next month as speculated. It was also announced that the unveiling of the highly touted device will make its brief unveiling sometime later this summer. The launch date is said to be made a few months after.

Apple has a share of rumors as well with its upcoming iPhone to be in the works. It is predicted that the official release of the handset will sometime be around June at the earliest or October at its latest. Samsung has finally shattered its silence and has confirmed that the S3 will not make a premiere appearance in the Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona, Spain.

The announcement also gave a hint of possibility that Apple’s upcoming Apple smartphone may make its public release a few weeks or months after. Samsung has announced that the S3 will be making its release sometime in the first half of this year. It will be a separate event that the Korean manufacturer will make a brief unveiling of the smartphone.

A commercial release of the tool will certainly be made in the middle of this year. This may sound like a familiar advertising technique when Apple declared its 4S in October next last year. This caused pre-oders from consumers on a the weekend and a week later on, the 4S was offered for the public. The quick release technique worked well as millions of units were offered in simply a matter of days.

A month later on, the Apple iPhone 4S offered millions more all the way till the end of the year. This is exactly what Apple will likely do when it premieres its Apple iPhone 5 near the end of this year. The S2, on the other hand, offered a chunk of its units throughout Europe and Asia before its shipping landing in the US.
