Reverse Phone Number Lookup – Find Out Who's Calling With Reverse Cell Phone Lookup

Similar to many others, at some point in time you have wondered who is calling you on your phone. Thanks to caller id, we can see the number but do not always have the information we need. The number may, for example, not list a name. Or the number could be blocked. With little information, we may not know who is calling us. We can use a little tool known as reverse phone look up to see who is calling us.

Most of us talk to others on mobile devices. These devices do tell us the number of the person calling, but unless we know the number and have added into our number book stored on the device, we will not know who has called. Answering the device when it rings may seem like the only option to see who has called. There are, however, other options to find this out.

With a landline communication device, the caller info may show on our caller id. Sometimes it may be blocked. We can unblock this by calling reverse directory.

Reverse phone look up is an easy tool that can be found on many websites. There are many companies offering to locate the name of a caller. Some of these services are free, while others come at a cheap cost. Each guarantees to locate who has called.

To use these services, all you need to do is have the number of the person calling. You put the number into the search bar and results will display. Some results will be general, such as a region or city the number is located in. More precise results will come at a charge.

Reverse phone look up is not completely accurate. It can only search for numbers that are listed in things such as the phone book. People can pay money not to have their number listed in directories. In these scenarios, you will not be able to get the name of the caller. Also, the number could be long to someone new, and not updated in directories. In this case, you would have old information. However, in more cases than not, you will get the information you need.

Reverse phone look up offers the great freedom of providing the name of the person the number belongs to. This is in addition to the great service caller ids provide. Caller ids list the number, but not often the name or the number could be blocked. These number searches can provide more information with either a nominal fee, or even sometimes providing free results. You can find out the name of the caller, the region the number is located in or even the city.

As not every number is listed in directories, you might not get a name. Also, people do change numbers, allowing for a region of error in the results. You can still get great results from these number searches, so do not hesitate to try one today. You will be on your way to finding out the information you need. These results can be good for deciding to pick up the phone or even contacting the police for harassment charges.

Take a sneak peek at Windows 8.

Jun-11-2011 By Dale Davis IV

Microsoft has primed potential users by releasing a sneak peek of the forthcoming Windows 8, as it’s named now but that may change. The newer, sleeker version of Windows resembles their current smartphone OS Windows Phone 7. The brightly colored boxes containing useful applications seem to promise a fun, whimsical experience. You can expect Microsoft to include all the great features that makes Windows what it is and include some newer applications that help keep us connected to our social media.

The Windows 8 operating system will be rolled out for tablet PCs as well as standard personal computing devices like desktops and laptops. The application boxes give me the feel that this would be a better swipe and tap system than a double mouse click system. The boxes scream for interaction that can’t be felt through a mouse-click. They need the touchscreen of a smartphone or tablet to bring them to life.

Microsoft will begin requesting application developers start designing apps for the new OS. It should be interesting to see what they come up with. Have no fear if you want to upgrade to Windows 8 but still run your old programs. Microsoft will make sure most of your old programs work just fine. They will also make sure that if you want to send out a tweet or update your status, you can do that too.

Windows 8 is still in development and won’t be released any time soon. We may get a few more previews as they finish up new features and show them off at the tech conferences. As usual with Windows, those who like it will absolutely love it and swear it makes their lives better and those who don’t will find no value in it at all.

Until Windows 8 hits the stores, we will only be able to guess how it will be received. You will get the opportunity to have your say some time next year. For now, we will keep you updated on any product developments.

DirectDeals will do our best to keep you aware of any updates or similar information on Windows 8.
