When you set up your phone number with a landline carrier they publish your number because they are the ones making the phonebooks. there are services out there that will allow you to list your cell number with them if you want to, but this is a way to invite unwanted phone calls. Over the past few years wireless carriers have discussed putting out a wireless directory, but due to customer protest they decided not to.

   because when you look up house numbers, it’s because they’re listed (in the phonebook). Most people don’t list their cell phone numbers, I assume you’re using whitepages.com so unless it’s listed it won’t show up. It’d be awesome if you could tracks cell phones though!

   it cost money to do that. but reversephonedirectory.com will tell you the company that it under.

   You can… call 411 from ur cell and tell them ur need a reverse.. it costs money to call 411 though…
